Who We Are

Second Chance of Florida Foundation was founded by Mr. William Umansky who developed a very successful law practice that provides a second chance for individuals. As part of his representation of Juvenile Law he saw the need for a second chance for youth who were doing well in school but lacking the financial support to advance to college.

Recognizing that need Umansky founded the Second Chance of Florida Foundation in order to raise money for college tuition and book scholarships for youth who demonstrate academic excellence despite financial, personal and economic hardships. Since 2011, the Second Chance Foundation opened its doors and it hearts to provide opportunity for these individuals along with actively pursuing other organizations to partner with in raising funds for these youth.
